Experience Through Their Eyes

We started our vacation with breakfast at Big Daddy’s and it was delicious! We walked in, smelled that diner smell, and hoped to get a good breakfast and we did. As you know, I am always on the search for the best burger ever and so I ordered the Sunrise Burger and coffee. The burger came with super crispy hot french fries which were awesome. The burger itself was great. The only thing I would’ve had different is that I would’ve gotten that over medium egg like I ordered it instead of over easy because when I took the first bite, the best part of the egg landed all over the table. The hubs ordered Big Daddy’s Extreme Mess which had gravy all over the top of it. I am no fan of gravy but he said it was good. We got good, friendly service and it was a good meal. It was also reasonably priced.

Love this place a great find. The gator and taters was absolutely delicious! The fried pies borth the peach and cherry makes me want to try them all. The staff was super nice and very helpful. This is a destination for local flavors.

My best friend and I found this breakfast / lunch diner on our road trip and it was DELICIOUS! The staff was was super friendly & welcoming, and the food was soooo good! My friend had the BELT minus bacon & they were cool with substituting her GF bread that she brought. We split the loaded veggie hash browns, & I enjoyed the biscuits & sausage gravy & some (big) silver dollar pancakes with hot syrup. YUM!

My sisters and I were traveling through on Wednesday, March 19, 2925, on our way to Springfield, MO. I had a plane to catch after our first ever Sisters Trip. Due to severe weather, my flight was canceled and rebooked to the next day. Big Daddy's was a great experience on a less than great afternoon. My older sister had the pork chops and said it was one of the best she had ever had. My coconut shrimp were yummy, not too sweet, and perfectly cooked. Our younger sister had the French dip, and it was also great. We all thought the onion rings were delicious! We were shown an unexpected kindness by a local, and I will pay it forward. A great hometown feel!
